Climate Radio
Cornwall Friends of the Earth has received funding from Defra's Climate Challenge Fund to run the ‘Climate Radio' project on Pirate FM. The funding provides us with an opportunity to communicate a positive message about why people are doing things in Cornwall to tackle climate change to a large audience. Contact info[at]climateradio.org for more information.
Climate Friendly Parish
In August 2006, St Endellion Parish Council voted unanimously
to be Cornwall’s first ‘Climate Friendly Parish’.
The Climate Friendly Parish project was developed by Cornwall Friends of the Earth
and is an exciting new project aimed at giving
recognition and support to those communities
working to reduce the threat of climate
change. To be awarded the ‘Climate Friendly’ status a community must reduce its carbon
emissions by 5% each year. Visit Climate Friendly St Endellion

The Forum was formed in January 2006 and is a coalition of environment groups, faith organisations, women’s groups, unions and other community groups. These groups have come together to tackle climate change at all levels of society. If you would like get involved please contact Clayton Elliott on celliott73[at]yahoo.co.uk
