Penwith Housing Association - helping the climate, helping tenants....
We’re asking organisations in Cornwall why they’re helping to combat climate change.
I'm Denys Stephens from Penwith Housing Association. We have always taken climate change seriously and have cut the carbon footprints of our homes by a third so far. Luckly the energy saving work that achieves this also reduces us customers fuel bills.
We are particularly proud of having pioneered ground source heat pumps in social housing. These provide affordable heating with very low carbon dioxide emissions.
So there's another organisation tackling climate change in Cornwall.
Tomorrow’s climate, is today’s challenge..are you up for it?
