Surfers Against Sewage – supporting action on climate change....
We’re asking organisations in Cornwall why they’re helping to combat climate change.
My name is Richard Hardy, I'm campaigns director at Surfers Against Sewage, based at St Agnes. We have produced a scientific report calling on all surfers to play a part in protecting the water environment from climate change.
We are very concerned that there is going to be more pollution incidences, loss of surfing breaks because of rising sea levels and because we are part of the problem, we want to encourage surfers to be part of the solution.
So there's another organisation tackling climate change in Cornwall.
Tomorrow’s climate, is today’s challenge..are you up for it?
