West Cornwall

West Cornwall Friends of the Earth is an active and well-established group. Meetings are held at 7.30 on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (except December and August) in the Dolphin Inn, Quay St (off the bottom of Chapel St) in Penzance. We can be found in the room on the right as you enter the pub. Visitors or new members are always welcome.

Climate Change / Chemical and industrial pollution

Local planning issues

GM campaign

Sustainable waste (including supporting the freecycle networks Penzance Freecycle & Freecycle Hayle)

Preservation of the rural landscape and organic farming (including supporting local Community Supported Agriculture projects like the one at Badger's Cross, see Lowarth Brogh CSA.)

Wildlife, marine mammal habitats and conservation

Sustainable Communties (see Local Works)

Trade and anti-globalisation issues
